Where do I begin? I can't believe you are ONE years old. You still seem like a baby to me. Noah seemed so much more grown up to me at this age. I think it's because you are my second child and still my baby, and I have a 3 year old to compare you to.
Hudson you are so loving and so sweet. You still prefer me more than anyone. You are definitely a mama's boy, and I love it.
You have been crawling for a while. You can stand on your own, but once you realize your standing you drop back down to the floor.
You have taken a couple of steps but that is about it. You will walk around the furniture and in between ottomans, but are in no hurry to walk on your own. I think you really enjoy being babied.
You love your blue blanky, and your binky. It's the only thing that will soothe you, other than me. You always search for the tags on it so you can play with them.
Your first tooth finally decided to come in right before you first birthday. I thought for sure you weren't going to be getting any at all.
You love bath time, especially when you get to take a bath with your big brother.
You need attention almost all of the time. You prefer to have company and someone to play with.
You were finally starting to sleep through the night consistently, and I LOVED this, and then you had your hospital episode, and have regressed since. (More of the hospital episode on another post.)
You were also almost completely weaned, only nursing at night time, and early morning, until you got sick and so I started nursing you more to help get you feeling better, and now you will only nurse full time. You have been refusing to drink anything if it doesn't come from my boob. I think you know better now.
You are a great eater, and you love food.
Noah has a hard time sharing anything with you especially his food. That is something we are working on. The older you are getting the more Noah and you laugh and play, I can see the bond growing and it melts my mama heart. Nothing makes me happier than seeing you two laugh and play with one another.
You LOVE your big brother, even when he is being rough. You think he is so funny.
You love to go visit Grammy and Papa Flowers, and Nana and Papa Wall.
You don't care to get dirty. If the door is open you are headed for it and will get into the rocks, grass, and dirt. You love to explore the outdoors.
We went to the pool for the first time this summer and you weren't a fan of the water. I think you like hot baths like me, so anything cold is a no go. Maybe you'll warm up to the idea a little more into the Summer.
Your big brother calls you HUD!! and everyone else calls you Huddy.
Other names your brother calls you are, Hud monster, and stinker butt.
And you almost always have a bruise somewhere on your noggin. You are my accident prone child.

Hudson, you have the sweetest spirit and I love you dearly. You have taught me patience and have made my heart grow even bigger than before. You have been an easy baby but also a needy one too, which I was not use to with Noah. I have really enjoyed being able to baby you. You love it and I love it. You loves snuggles and love to be held, which has given me the chance to soak up this stage with you as much as possible. I love being your mama, your comforter and protector. I hope you'll always want to snuggle me and come to me for comfort. And I hope you know I am your biggest cheerleader, your biggest fan, and that I will always be here for you. May you always stay so sweet and loving.
I love you Hudson.
Love, Mom.
